See the excellent movie “Master & Commander.” The sound design of this movie included recording the sounds of canvas sails as they flapped from masts and booms erected on a truck bed which was operated in the screaming winds of the Mojave. The movie takes us to the shores of Patagonia, the wild region of Southern Argentina along the Atlantic, as well as to the Galapagos Islands.

You may compare it to another geography-minded movie in a comparison essay for bonus points. Email me with your proposal: trudeau@earthlink.net.
